Kurt's sweet potato waffles can be eaten for breakfast, or as a stand alone muscle building meal at any time of the day.
Each waffle may be eaten dry if desired. Kurt often tops each waffle with Walden Farm's fat free, sugar free, zero calorie pancake syrup, but does recommend eating the waffles dry during contest prep. Walden Farms products are available at most grocery stores.

I made these tonight and they turned out great. The sweet potato I used, however, was a bit bigger than 6 oz. It was actually closer to 12. I cooked it first in the microwave for 6 minutes and after that, it was fully cooked. I took the skin off and threw it in the blender with the other ingredients. I used 1 tbsp of cinnamon. I also added 15 packets of aspartame sweetener. And again, they came out fantastic. Put some sugar free low cal syrup on them too. Will be making them again!
Why use artificial sweeteners? Surely a natural alternative like stevia or agave nectar.
I think we know enough about artificial sweeteners to know that they have no place in the human body
These look delicious. How did you prepare the potatoes before blending them? Did you remove the skin?
I checked nutrition on each ingredient and it looks like it would make 2 servings. 1cup of oats is roughly 54 carbs and 6oz sweet potato is 34 carbs. Thats 88 carbs for entire recipe not including sweetner.
You are totally right! So how they come out with 415 cal??
Same question tho, are all waffles 415 calorie ?
Are all 4 waffles 415 calorie ?
I would assume its for all 4. If you add the nutritional facts for all the ingredients it makes sense. Depending on what you use in your recipe the totals might be a little different.
So are the 4 waffles together 415 calories...or are they each 415 calories
This looks amazing! Can't wait to get home to try this! Waffles with natural peanut butter or almond butter taste amazing!
This is perfect for people like me looking for ultra low-fat high-protein, substantial meals! Definitely looking for more sweet potato recipes if possible, I love on 'em.
could you make this into a pancake if you wanted?
