Lying Alternating Knee Raise Instructions

  1. Lay on the floor with your hands down by your sides, palms on the floor.
  2. With your legs straight and knees together, lift your heels about 6 inches off the floor. This is the starting position for the exercise.
  3. Bring one knee as far up as possible while keeping your other leg stationary. Pause, then extend the working leg back to the starting position.
  4. Repeat this movement with your alternate leg. One knee raise on each leg equals one rep.
  5. Repeat movement for desired reps.

Lying Alternating Knee Raise Tips

  • Keep the movements slow throughout the exercises for maximum benefit.
  • Add a mat for extra comfort.
