Suzanne is a WNBF Figure & Fit Body Pro. Throughout her years in sports she's had great success and learned the difference between eating healthy and unhealthy.

Fitness has always been a part of my life and even when I was very young, I had a workout routine that was part of my daily schedule. Later, when I was in college, I took extra classes in nutrition for electives and studied anatomy books on my own, because I was intrigued about the body and how it worked. At that time, I designed a workout routine with exercise videos that I did religiously every day.

After I graduated with a B.S. in Business, I pursued a career as a project manager, but wanted to advance in fitness, so I signed up for martial arts classes and took up swimming. My weight lifting workouts also became more serious and I started to put on a considerable amount of muscle, but that later became a useful skill when I competed in sparring and board breaking competitions in martial arts. I competed in several competitions, and always earned either the gold or silver medals in sparring and board breaking.

After I earned my black belt, I decided to pursue figure competition with the goal of earning pro status. I have competed for the last nine years, the last four as a pro, and have competed in over 40 shows. Some of my titles include winning the Maryland and Delaware State Figure Overall, Over 35 Natural North America, and the Naturally Fit Super Show Pro Fit Body Overall the past summer.

Now, I compete in Pro Fit Body to stay on track with my training. As I continue to improve my fitness skills and abilities, I am always looking for that next new challenge to conquer. More recently, I have been practicing yoga and swimming for distance, writing fitness articles, and recipes.
