About Eric Knight

Eric Knight attended the College of Charleston, SC, where he began bodybuilding to increase size and strenth. The self-proclaimed "90 pound weakling" quickly felt a love for the iron and competed in several NPC shows before an ACL/MCL tear kept him from being able to continue an immediate path in bodybuilding.

During his knee rehab, Knight continued heavy upper-body training where he found that competing in bench press contests fufilled his competitive nature. He continued competing, winning several local, regional, and national titles, including 3 national titles in the 132 and 148 pound weight classes and a personal best 420 pound bench press at a body weight of 140.

While attending graduate school at The Citadel, he became a certified personal trainer and worked as the Athletic Director for a gym in the Charleston area. Although he has retired from competitive lfting, he still trains hard and works with others on diet and nutrition, as well as training methods and techniques.

Eric I want to thank you for your help. I tried your Modified Westside Barbell Workout and have had good results I entered my first powerlifting comp (bench only) and I was among the top in my age and weight class. What would you recommend I do to move my bench from 281 to 300.
