I've tried several whey proteins over the years, and NOW Foods Whey Protein Isolate has become one of my favorites. It mixes smoothly with both water and milk, has a clean taste without being overly sweet, and doesn't upset my stomach. I use it after workouts and sometimes as a quick protein boost during the day. The quality feels excellent, and the ingredient list is straightforward. For the price, it's hard to find a better protein isolate. Highly recommended!*

Excellent product quality and affordable on a budget. I buy it by the 10 lb. bags to maximize cost savings per serving.
Serving suggestions? My personal favorite each morning: I mix my scoop of powder with a teaspoon of Cocoa Powder to make it extra chocolatey and add cold coffee in a 20 oz. shaker cup and pour into my huge coffee mug. If you choose to warm it up, be sure to only microwave for 2 minutes. Adding a teaspoon of sugar-free Barista style syrup, post warm-up if desired, for flavor and sweetener. (Your choice of course.) ;-)*

I was an ISO Pure fan before they got greedy and raised their prices beyond belief. NOW Foods protein powder is a fine substitute at a reasonable price. I love it that they have a non-sucralose version. I also liked that this website had a good special going. I bought 5 months worth of this product.*

The taste of chocolate is mild, not overwhelming one bit. It does blend easily in a blender but not in a shaker cup as others do. Nevertheless the price point and transparency of the amino acid profile on label is a plus considering protein/amino spiking is an issue in the protein powder industry.*

Wow this mixes with water so easily. Just add water, shake and drink. It could use a little bit more flavor but it’s still good. Does not upset my stomach at all and feels like it’s being absorbed efficiently.
With minimal ingredients and low sodium and sugar content, it’s now one of my favorite whey protein. *

My go-to isolate whey powder used to be G6 Prolific Isolate, but with their price doubling in recent years I was looking for a more affordable option. I think I've found my new go-to with the NOW foods isolate. They both have a short ingredients list for their chocolate options (whey isolate, cocoa, natural flavors, xanthan gum, and stevia), with the only additional ingredients in the NOW powder being:
-Xylitol: this sweetener is a sugar alcohol I think they could do without, and sugar alcohols sometimes upset digestion. My guess is xylitol is cheaper than stevia and by using both stevia and xylitol together they can lower costs
-Sea Salt: I think just for flavor as it's not in the vanilla version, but only 35mg more sodium/serving overall for chocolate
-Sunflower Lecithin: emulsifier to help with mixing, seems to possibly have some secondary health benefits
I've had digestive issues with some powders in the past, but even with the xylitol in this one it doesn't really bother me. I tried the vanilla version first and it was wayyyyyyy too sweet for me (xylitol is also second on the ingredients list for the vanilla option vs fifth on the ingredients list for the chocolate option). The chocolate is not very sweet and mostly tastes like cocoa powder or a dark chocolate, which I like! So I'd definitely recommend the chocolate if you don't like overly sweet shakes or have had digestive issues with other powders.*

The product is what the labeling says it is, PROTEIN. I have been using this brand consistently for 2 years now and it is perfect for building/maintaining lean muscle, depending on your goals. I have found the creamy vanilla to have the most flavor out of them all. I highly recommend this product for the amount of protein you get at the price, and of course the value of the protein.*
