Multivitamins are popular, and with such extreme saturation in the marketplace, companies have tried to find as many ways as possible to differentiate their products.*

This has led to an arms race of exceedingly high dosages of poorly bioavailable and/or inactive vitamins and minerals, as well as the inclusion of fluff/often counterproductive ingredients to make a product label look more comprehensive, innovative, and impressive.*

This has ruined countless multivitamin formulas.*

Using high dosages of poorly absorbed minerals can lead to a misguided perception of nutrient status.*

Furthermore, high dosages of low-quality vitamins may not only be problematic via lack of efficacy, but in some cases, it can even lead to a paradoxical vitamin deficiency.*

For example, supplementing with the inactive form of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) competitively inhibits the active form of vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5'-phosphate [P5P]).*

At high enough dosages, you can induce a vitamin deficiency through the supplementation of inactive vitamins, leaving you worse off than if you took nothing at all.*

This is why we included a biologically active/methylated B vitamin complex in our formula.*

We intentionally, exclusively included a tight list of high-quality and bioavailable nutrients, at dosages found to be efficacious, and didn't put any unnecessary "extras" in.*
