The tape measure is nice because it self retracts. The calipers work okay, I guess. The chart they have online doesn’t go below 15% body fat, so it’s not very useful in my opinion.*

I purchased this kit in hopes of using body measurements & body-fat % as a "success" gauge rather than my bathroom scale. The caliper and tape work great, but learning how to accurately use them (especially the caliper) is another story. The video link isn't very helpful either. Muscle & Strength should reshoot their video using the same caliper & chart they are selling, and throw in some professionals who take their time to teach others via the video! There are lots of other helpful videos out on YouTube, so if you don't mind searching for help, you can't beat a caliper at this price.*
