Fits two scoops of my protein powder with some creatine tossed in. Never had an issue with it coming loose or popping open in a bag because the threads are secure but not impossible to open. The funnel can be tricky if you pack it full then expect the powder to just smoothly come out but most shakers are big enough to just pour out the top.*
