After suffering a herniated disc two days before a bodybuilding competition which resulted in surgery, Dave was determined to do what he loves again – lifting weights. He threw himself into strength training in an attempt to injury proof his back. 

8 months after surgery he was on stage at a bodybuilding show and 4 months after that Aesthetic-Physiques.com was born.

Since then he has written for The Huffington Post and The Distilled Man and published the eBook “The Beginner’s Guide to Fitness”.
